Indoor Shooting

The indoor archery season takes place from October to March.

We shoot at the LQ Arena at Stourport High School on Saturday afternoons from 13:00 to 17:00 and on Wednesdays from 19:00 to 22:00. The hall is situated behind Lifestyle Fitness.

NOTE: There is a strict policy in place –  NO BLACK SOLED SHOES and NO FOOD OR DRINKS are allowed in the hall AT ANY TIME.

The cost per indoor session is £5.00 per adult and £2.00 per junior club member (this fee applies even if you go up to the field to shoot)

Non-members are welcome to join us (space permitting). The fees for visitors are £6.50 per adult and £3.00 per junior.

All archers are expected to help setting up and packing away the equipment.

Outdoor Shooting

The outdoor season takes place from April to September. During these months we shoot on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 19:00 and Saturday afternoons from 13:30 at Upper Arley Sports & Social Club. On Tuesday’s there will be a coach available (Penny, Maxine or Anne) if you need some coaching, there is also the opportunity for assistance with bow tuning.

All archers are expected to set up and remove their own equipment.

The field is marked out in both yards and metres with distance markers along the fence. The shooting line, datum line and distance lines are marked.

Shooting during the outdoor season is free for all WFCA members.

Visiting archers are welcome to shoot with us. A visitor fee of £2.50 per session applies and should be paid to a member of the committee and entered into the visitor log book along with the archers name, club and Archery GB membership number.
