SCOA WA25 Awards For WFCA

January 2018

On 14th January Wyre Forest archers of all ages attended the SCOA WA25 competition in Rubery. Well done to everyone who took part and congratulations to those who won awards: Robert Millward, Daniel Finn, Scott Potter, Jason Finn, Dave Brazier, Freya Palmer (1st Junior Recurve Girl), Karen McKay (1st Recurve Lady), Sheila Jakeman, Heike Palmer, Lindsey Brazier (Veteran Trophy), Penny Neaverson, Angela Burbridge (1st Barebow Lady) and Jasmine Simpson (1st Junior Barebow Girl)

CWAA Junior Champs Win For WFCA

January 2018

On 6th January, juniors from Wyre Forest Company of Archers and other clubs from Worcestershire and beyond gathered at Droitwich High School for the County of Worcestershire Junior Indoor Championship. This was the first year that the junior competition had been separated from the senior event, and it was a success! In the Junior Lady Recurve category WFCA archer Freya Palmer won the section with club mates Lauren Turner, Jasmine Simpson and Heike Palmer also shooting. Well done everyone!
